New generation Range Rover tested in Sweden
Land Rover has begun testing the new, fifth generation of the top-of-the-line Range Rover SUV.
Today the novelty passes test drives in Sweden.
The car is covered with dense camouflage, so it is tough to talk about its design. The SUV in the new generation will keep its traditional body design, but expect some modern elements (new radiator with narrow headlights in the Velar style).
The interior will feature new materials, such as a digital dashboard and a set of modern equipment, plus even more modern technology.
Perhaps the old supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine will be replaced by BMW's 4.4-liter V8. Buyers will also be able to choose a soft-hybrid version and a car with a plug-in hybrid unit.
The start of sales of the new generation Range Rover is scheduled for late 2021.
