Landwind X7 has been seen before the Auto Show in Guangzhou as a Copy of Range Rover Evoque
The disputable Landwind X7 was shot by paparazzi in the metal before the official presentation at the Auto Show in Guangzhou, China.
In the result of a joint development of the local companies Changan Auto and Jiangling Motors, the model in just a shameless duplicate of the Range Rover Evoque. It will be commercialized since March of the next year.
The images were taken at the parking lot of the Auto Show in Guangzhou. They show the evident likeness between the Landwind X7 and the China-spec Range Rover Evoque.
In the time when the locally manufactured Range Rover Evoque has price of 400,000 yuan (or about $65,000), the Landwind X7 will have an approximate price of 120,000 yuan (or $19,600). The model will ride on a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-rated engine producing 190 hp (or 141 kW) and torque of 250 Nm (or 184 lb-ft) which is passed to the front wheels through a regular manual gear box of six speeds. It is also possible to obtain an automatic transmission of eight speeds optionally.
