Meet Huracan LP580-2 with 580 HP from Lamborghini
Lamborghini has opened up its Huracan LP580-2 before the vehicle’s Los Angeles introduction.
The offering is easily recognizable. Though, its bumpers were changed and this helps to differentiate it from its 4-wheel drive counterpart. The vehicle boasts new 19-inch wheels. They are wrapped in Pirelli PZero tyres. The tyres were exclusively created for the vehicle.
A detuned 5.0-litre ten-cylinder engine that equips the model is able to deliver 580 hp (or 426 kW) and torque of 540 Nm (or 398 lb-ft). As you can see, that is 30 hp (or 22 kW) less than in the Huracan LP610-4. Thankfully to the all-wheel drive set-up removal, the vehicle weighs 72 lbs (or 33 kg) less than the regular offering.
With all that, the car is still a little bit slower than the LP610-4. It accelerates 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds. Its top speed stands at 198 mph. Its efficiency proves to return 23.7 mpg and CO2 emissions stand at 278 g/km.
The new offering benefits from an improved steering system, traction control system, a retuned suspension and recalibrated stability system.
The price for the car will kick off starting from €150,000. As you can see, this is cheaper than the €169,500 Huracan LP610-4.
