Detroit to Host the Concept of Sports Car from Kia
Kia will make a debut of its new sports model in Detroit.
Offering a few details about the concept so far, the South Korean carmaker has, nevertheless, confirmed the 2+2 style and orientation at striking design and capacity merging into unique driving experience both for city and country drivers.
Design studio in California has worked at new Kia’s concept look. The company decided to change its approach to design to a modern one advertising the outlook of the new 2+2 concept model as “emotional”. It is a step for the carmaker to establish closer relations with its existing customers and become of interest to the future ones.
Peter Schreyer, who is in charge of design of two South Korean brands, is currently working at making Hyundai and Kia look memorable to differentiate their focus groups. Schreyer’s maxim, which has been printed in Autocar, states that in order for these two brands to attract more buyers in total, separation of design solutions should be vivid.
He also mentioned that if Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 approach acquired by Hyundai is considered to be a step forward (2015 Genesis being a proof of it), Kia’s new look will be thought revolution.
