2016 Kia Sportage was spotted on the Autobahn in Germany
Almost completely covered prototype of the latest Kia Sportage was shot during its final testing on the German autobahn.
Few days earlier it was possible to see several renders of the 2016 Sportage on Squir. Unfortunately, those images were removed right after the automaker asked to do this. Such a move could mean that it was really the latest offering shown on the photos. So, a near-production prototype was photographed on the autobahn in Germany. The producer makes some last-minute tuning before its market launch which is supposed to happen towards the end of 2015.
The new Sportage has a very different appearance in comparison with the outgoing offering. It has a smart outlook thankfully to those quad ice cube daytime running lights from LED. They can be ordered on the high-end cars only. The model benefits from a lower tiger nose grille along with revised sweptback headlamps, a spoiler, placed on the roof, dual chromed exhaust pipes and aluminium front and rear tail part protection.
The 4th-gen Kia Sportage will probably reach its fame in the middle of September at the Motor Show in Frankfurt. There also will be an online reveal. It is scheduled for the end of next month. As we know, the offering under consideration is a sister of the Tucson from Hyundai. Therefore, expect it to have the same gear boxes, engines, the optional four-wheel drive set-up and the regular FWD layout.
