Live Axles in the Upcoming Jeep Wrangler
Fiat/Chrysler developers are in the process of creating the next-gen Jeep Wrangler, the alpha cross-country vehicle from the rough-and-tumble company.
Rumours say that the vehicle could be a lightweight aluminium body along with new enhancements. It is unknown how enthusiast will react to the innovation, but they will surely love the new chassis of the vehicle. Reportedly, the SUV will keep its solid axles which will be a very beneficial characteristic.
The forthcoming Jeep Wrangler will probably come out for sale in two years. It will be with an improved ride, higher fuel economy and with the interior of enhanced comfort. Solid axles will allow the body to be lifted easily. This characteristic can improve the car’s ground clearance and, in such a way, make it an off-road beast.
Additionally, the new model will be placed in the range of smaller turbocharged engines. The range will be aimed at fuel economy and performance. The existing variant of the SUV is equipped with a 3.6-litre Pentastar six-cylinder engine with the output of 285 hp and torque of 260 lb-ft.
