Jeep Wrangler powered by electricity will appear in honor of its 80th anniversary

Jeep has shown an electric version of the all-terrain vehicle Wrangler - The Road Ahead on the new teaser. 

The company will release the concept in honor of the 80th anniversary of Jeep, which will be celebrated this year.

The name of the all-terrain vehicle is translated as "further prospects." At a hint, Jeep is preparing a significant update to the model lineup, where a large model with a revived name Grand Wagoneer recently appeared. 

At the end of 2020, Jeep Wrangler got a modification with a hybrid unit. The version of the car is called 4xe. The hybrid installation consists of gasoline 2.0-liter four-cylinder supercharged motor, two electric motors, 400-volt battery pack with 17 kWh, located under the second row of seats. Altogether, the engines develop 380 horsepower and 637 Nm. The SUV can travel up to 40 km on a single charge.
