Jeep Introduces New Base Model for 2025 Wagoneer S Lineup

Jeep is expanding its 2025 Wagoneer S lineup with a new base model called the Limited. Priced at $66,995, it offers a lower cost option compared to the 2024 Launch Edition. However, to access the full power of 600 horsepower, customers will need to opt for the Propulsion Boost Package. This over-the-air update, set to arrive later in 2025, will unlock the additional 100 horsepower.

Similar to Mercedes, Jeep is using subscription-based models to generate additional revenue. The base Limited model comes with 500 horsepower and 524 pound-feet of torque, while the Launch Edition offers 600 horsepower and 617 pound-feet of torque. Both models have impressive acceleration times and a long electric range.

Harnessing the Full Power

Jeep has made some adjustments to the Limited model to lower its price, such as removing certain standard equipment like the McIntosh sound system and front passenger screen. However, it still offers impressive features like 10-way heated front seats and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. The new Limited model also comes with sleek exterior and interior color options.

Jeep's strategy of providing a lower-cost base model opens up the possibility of a rugged Trailhawk version in the future. With a focus on affordability and performance, Jeep continues to make waves in the electric SUV market.
