67,000 Jeep Cherokee SUVs recalled in the USA

Jeep recalls 67,248 Jeep Cherokee 2014-2017 model years in the USA.

The reason for this solution is problems with the power take-off (PTU).

According to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Jeep Cherokee may stop due to problems with the power take-off. 
 
Jeep representatives claim they are aware of one accident caused by a problem with the PTU. Fortunately, no one hurt in this accident.

The FCA Concern promises to soon inform Jeep Cherokee 2014-2017 model years about the start of the service campaign. If dealers find this defect, they will update the software.
