The Resurgence of the Jaguar E-Type
The Birth of the Commemorative Edition
Jaguar Classic has emerged with a special project for a loyal client in Southeast Asia - the E-Type Commemorative duo. These stunning cars pay homage to the original Commemorative Edition from 50 years ago, with their design and colors reminiscent of the iconic roadster's farewell.
A Blend of Classic and Modern
Underneath the classic exterior, the E-Type Commemorative boasts modern upgrades. Its 3.8-liter inline-six engine now features electronic fuel injection, while the manual gearbox has been replaced with a more contemporary five-speed unit. Additional enhancements include a heated windscreen and Bluetooth radio, making the driving experience both comfortable and connected.
A Luxurious Interior
The interior of the E-Type Commemorative is a work of art. Bridge of Weir tan leather seats and hand-woven upholstery create a sense of luxury, complemented by black and tan leather trim. Details such as an engraved E-Type Series I blueprint on the center console and exquisite silver and gold accents from Deakin & Francis complete the sophisticated ambiance within the car.
The Enduring Legacy
While the price of the E-Type Commemorative has not been disclosed, it is expected to surpass the cost of the E-Type Reborn - a restoration project released in 2017. Jaguar Classic continues to honor the E-Type's legacy, with the recent E-Type 60 Collection marking six decades since the Series I's debut.
