Jaguar XE received an extended version for China

Jaguar showed an extended version of the sedan XE, which acquired the prefix L and was created specifically for the Chinese market.

The Jaguar XEL is longer than the standard version by 116 mm (4788 mm), and the wheelbase has received an increase of exactly 100 mm (2935 mm). Also, the model added 13 mm in height (1429 mm). At the same time, the extended sedan did not receive design differences.

For the Jaguar XEL, a two-liter Ingenium turbo engine is offered, in two variants of forcing: 200 or 250 hp. Transmission - 8-speed "automatic".

It is expected that the official premiere of the model will be held at the November motor show in Guangzhou.

Interestingly, the older sedan of the brand, XF, the wheelbase is only three centimeters longer than the new XE. However, to provoke "internal cannibalism" in the company is not afraid, because XF in China also has an extended version of XFL.

In terms of options, the long-wheelbase XEL will be allocated at the expense of a large panoramic roof and a separate multimedia system for rear passengers with personalized tablets. In addition, a special finish is promised, as well as a number of other options that distract XEL from the standard version, but the company has kept all the details for the debut of the model, which will be held at the Guangzhou motor show on November 17.
