567 HP from the Sexy Jaguar F-Type SVR
We have noticed a brochure with the innovated Jaguar F-Type SVR before its official presentation.
The vehicle rides with a 5.0-litre supercharged eight-cylinder unit. The more attractable F-Type SVR will produce 567 hp and torque of 516 pound-feet. However, specifications for America may be slightly different. Judging from the numbers, the SVR car will produce 25 hp and 14 lb-ft more than the Jaguar F-Type R. It will be possible to obtain it only with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. The top coupe’s speed will stand at 200 mph. Meanwhile the convertible will squeeze out 194 mph. The vehicle will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds.
The F-Type SVR receives more aggressive design. Its front end will feature bigger air inlets and slats behind the front wheels for ushering more cool air to the brakes. There is a stylish spoiler and a bigger diffuser at the end. Customers can obtain carbon ceramic brakes shedding 46 pounds in comparison with the regular units. Meanwhile a titanium exhaust is 26 lbs lighter. With its help the SVR will have a more aggressive sound.
It is just the matter of time when the producer states about the car officially. It will cost more than the convertible ($107,445) or the current F-Type R ($104, 595 together with destination).
