Japan will Receive Infiniti Branded Models

Nissan will start delivering its luxury Infiniti brand in its motherland.

For decades, the Skyline nameplate has been delivered under the Nissan brand. But when the all-new Skyline sedan hits the Japanese market later this year, it will be delivered as an Infiniti. The Skyline, which is the fresh Q50 in North America, will be constructed in a factory in Tochigi Prefecture.

Nissan is going to sell its Infiniti brand at existing Nissan dealerships in Japan, and nowadays has no plans to create an exclusive sales network. Nissan hopes by releasing its Infiniti brand in Japan, it can help to conquer the rising need for upscale vehicle in its homeland.
