This Year ' s Sonata Facelift From Hyundai Was Revealed In Its Homecountry
The facelifted this year’s Hyundai Sonata was presented in South Korea this week.
Even though it is a mid-life facelift, the sedan features a significant styling overhaul. It reminds of the new i30 hatchback.
At the front it is possible to see vertical LED daytime-running lights, slim headlamps and the company’s cascading enclosure.
At the rear part there are new taillights with Audi-reminding graphics, “Sonata” lettering at the bootlid.
A customer can have 18-inch and 17-inch alloys (depending on a model).
The sporty 2.0-litre Turbo variant receives a sports mesh variant of the new enclosure, black daytime-running light surrounds, black side mirrors, black bezel headlamps and black trim on the lower bumper at the front.
There will be also dark chrome moulding available for the Turbo. There also will be door handles, rear lamp and dual chrome exhaust pipes sticking out of the diffuser at the back.
