First Generation of Veloster from Hyundai Might be the Last
It seems like we will not see the updates in the line-up of Hyundai Veloster.
One of the Australian sources indicates that in 2013 sales figures of the model barely crossed the 60,000-vehicle line. Such disappointing results give plenty of doubt as to whether the second generation will be produced. Almost 30,000 units were sold in North America, the region which obtained Veloster in its dealerships at the beginning of 2012.
Alterations are planned for the 2WD hatchback, but sales statistics might seriously endanger these prospects, says one of the brand’s representatives. After the initial release two high-specification variants were offered to the customers. One of the possibilities during the order was matte finish, quite unexpected as usually such an option goes for vehicles situated in a higher price niche.
