Air Bags to be Fixed in Hyundai Tucson

A massive recall of Tucsons is initiated to correct air bag folding.

Most of the vehicles out of 141,000-unit batch subjected to the recall were sold in America, and Puerto Rico covers a smaller share. Namely, the defect is found in connection of driver’s air bag placed into the steering wheel. The company comments that there could have been faults when the bags were packed and secured with bolts which may have been screwed looser than properly.

The abovementioned defect is hazardous due to possible detachment of the bag potentially leading to driver’s injuries. Thankfully, no one was harmed due to the issue. The campaign will start before August and air bag module will be fixed for free.
