The reborn Hummer will provide three electric motors
The top-end GMC pickup on electricity, which will be given the revived name Hummer, will have three engines. So said the CEO of GM Mark Reuss.
In total, GMC Hummer EV motors will produce 1,000 “horses” at a peak torque of 15,500 Nm. A “hundred” pickup will be typed in 3 seconds with a maximum range on a single charge of up to 650 km.
Reuss added that GMC Hummer EV would appear in other, not so expensive versions, with a different number of motors and batteries.
The premiere of the electric novelty will be held on May 20, 2020. They will be assembling a pickup truck in the state of Michigan at the Detroit/Hamtramck plant, for which General Motors has allocated $2.2 billion for the re-equipment of the GMC Hummer EV, possibly starting in 2021. Next, the electric variation of the vast Cadillac Escalade SUV with a GMC Sierra pickup truck will fall on the conveyor.
In rivals, GMC Hummer EV is listed as Tesla Cybertruck.
