Next Year's Honda Civic Coupe is set for Los Angeles Presentation
Honda is going to introduce the next year’s Civic Coupe at the Auto Show in LA.
The automaker is not fully revealing the photos. However, it has stated that the offering will be sportier than the sedan. The producer assured that there will be an intimate and high-tech cabin. Safety and refinement will be on world-class levels.
Two new motors can be obtained in the model. There will be a 2.0-litre V4 engine producing 158 hp (or 117 kW) and torque of 138 lb-ft (or 186 Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbocharged V4 engine generating 174 hp (or 129 kW) and torque of 162 lb-ft (or 219 Nm).
The automaker will also present the Clarity fuel-cell car in North America.
The Clarity was introduced at the Motor Show in Tokyo in October. It is an eco-friendly car featuring an aerodynamic design. Its interior is upscale and suits for five people.
Honda has not revealed the performance numbers, but we know that the aforementioned offering is the first production fuel cell sedan that houses the whole fuel cell vent pipe and powertrain system in its front engine compartment. The model’s range will stand at 300 miles (or 482 km). In order to refill the vehicle, the driver will spend nearly 3 minutes.
