Honda S660 Concept Shows How Small can be Cool
Hummer H2 drivers may disagree, but there’s syrely nothing wrong with driving a little car. Injecting some thrill into this part of the market Honda released a sporty open-top mini vehicle in Tokyo.
Named the S660 Concept this uncommonly stylish little 2-door is rather appealing, though some golf carts are probably larger. In Japan cars of this size are referred to as kei models and they have special restrictions on size, motor displacement and output; suffice to say they’re completely tiny.
The digit in this model’s name should refer to how big the motor is, though no information about a powertrain has been announced by the automaker. However, we believe that if it does in fact have an internal-combustion motor it would provide a bitsy 660 cubic centimeters.
This model is rather attractive with pearlescent white paint and some slick-looking style elements. The cut outs in the body side as well as the tastefully created interior dressed up with some carbon-fiber accents are a couple highlights.
Regrettably, aside from that we don’t know anything else about the Honda S660 Concept, though it’s an ideal example of the vehicular diversity that’s on display in Tokyo.
