Honda Releases Civic Wagon for Europe only
Honda has uncovered its 2014 Civic Tourer, ahead of its 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show premiere.
Designed and created in Europe, the Civic Tourer has class-leading trunk space over 22 cubic feet with the rear seats up. Motor choices for the fresh Civic Tourer feature a 1.6-liter i-DTEC motor from the company’s Earth Dreams Technology series or a 1.8-liter i-VTEC motor. Either motor can be had with a manual or automatic transmission. The 1.6-liter powerplant provides 118 horsepower and is a diesel motor, while the 1.8-liter generates 140 horsepower.
Highlighting the fresh Civic Tourer is its brand-new Adaptive Damper System (ADS) that is created to help improve stability and comfort under varying load and driving conditions. 3 options are available on the ADS: comfort, normal, and dynamic.
Regrettably, it’s highly unlikely that the Civic Tourer will be shipped to America, considering that wagons have always been weak in terms of deliveries on U.S. soil. Moreover, European Civic is based off an entirely different platform from our current Civic sedan and coupe.
