Honda Fit EV Demand Skyrockets as Lease Cost Slashed
After decreasing the lease cost of its Fit EV, Honda realizes that it totally underestimated the hunger that might provide.
At the end of last month, the Japanese brand informed that it would decrease the lease cost for its Fit EV from $389 per month to $259 per month, causing a boom of customers showing up at dealerships to take advantage of the deal. In general, the majority of dealerships that are allowed to lease the Fit EV have no inventory.
Honda is addressing the increase in demand and the low supply as simply a “short-term inventory problem” and that the Fit EV is not sold out. The brand is working hard to provide more Fit EVs to dealership showrooms to satisfy the rise in demand.
Along with decreasing the lease cost of its Fit EV, Honda’s offer features no money down, unlimited mileage, routine maintenance, collision coverage, and a free 240-volt EV home charger. Prior to the message on the lease special, Honda had released just 176 Fit EVs in the first 11 months the car was on sale. Only 2 weeks after dropping the cost, another 144 Fit EVs were leased off dealer lots in the US.
The Honda Fit EV can be bought in California, Oregon, NY, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
