Honda Civic Type R Powertrain will Compete with the US Model

Honda will not carry the European Civic Type R to North America, though the most of its speed guts may make it after all.

The 2.0-litre turbocharged and with direct injection “Earth Dreams” V4 will power the car and will be sold in an upgraded variant of the Civic which is commercialized in North America if to believe the report of MotoryRacing. It says that the Honda will not stop dropping the powertrain into the circulating Si offering, though it will adjust the vehicle oriented on the United States for performance more in range with the hi-po powertrain and the variant will be able to compete with the Type R badge.

It is possible that the vehicle will be presented next year in spring and if it will be the case of the range, it might mean that the hopped up Civic will be launched in two years.
