2014 Honda Insight Pricing Revealed
Honda has uncovered pricing for its 2014 Insight model, which will kick off at $19,525 featuring destination, making it the most affordable hybrid in the U.S.
The 2014 model year Insight receives a slight increase of $135 in its retail pricing, and the base version will get automatic climate control, a 160-watt stereo system, power windows and more. As for the Insight LX, which kicks off at $21,280, that model will offer steering-wheel mounted controls, a USB stereo interface, a security system, an armrest console, cruise control and floor mats.
Premium detail enthusiasts can opt for the Insight EX, which kicks off at $22,990. The EX features automatic headlights, alloy wheels, heated side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a 6-speaker stereo system, Bluetooth capability and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Insight EX can also be received with Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation for extra $1,735.
The Honda Insight is enhanced by a 1.3-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline motor with a 10-kilowatt electric engine. The combined system output of the hybrid is 97 hp and 122 lb-ft of torque. It receives an EPA-estimated 41 mpg in the city and 44 mpg on the highway.
