2014 Honda Accord Receives Minor Price Increase
Honda has revealed cost for its full 2014 Accord lineup, with the coupe and sedan vehicles both receiving a little growth in base price.
Beginning at the bottom, clients can pickup a base Accord for $21,955, a raise of around $300 over the 2013 vehicle. Choose a coupe version, and the MSRP increases to $23,625 while the plug-in hybrid variant of the vehicle will cost $39,780. There will also be an Accord Hybrid version that doesn’t plug in, though cost for it has yet to be uncovered.
Everything is already known about the 2014 Accord’s powertrains save new refined finishes for the Earth Dreams cam-cover logos. The vehicle arrives with standard direct-injection 4-cylinder that generates 185 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque with a fuel efficiency rating of 27/36 mpg when paired to a CVT. Customers can also receive a 278-hp V6 motor that can be hooked up to a 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual, however the manual is only provided with the Accord Coupe.
Other improvements feature fresh exhaust tips on the Accord Coupe, new seat fabric on LX sedan vehicles and softer headrest materials for cars with leather-wrapped seats.
