GMC Canyon 2015 Officially Revealed
GMC has held the presentation of 2015 Canyon in Detroit.
Resembling a tiny Sierra, its younger brother Canyon was stylishly designed, obtained a large grille with beam headlamps and seamless LED daytime lamps on the sides. The truck shows off squared fenders, upward beltline and a bumper with corner step. For those left unimpressed the brand prepared another highlight: an off-road set with modified form of grille, revised suspension and off-road tyres on aluminium wheels 17 inches in diameter.
Standard packages do not offer anything unusual in the interior, but lineup high-scale solutions feature comfortable leather seats with a heater, details of artificial wood and information-entertainment system. Additional options include Wi-Fi and a range of safety mechanism, especially those preventing forward collision and providing stability control.
Canyon 2015 starts off with two engine solutions so far: smaller 2.5-litre V4 for 193 bhp and torque of 184 lb-ft and a larger 3.6-litre with six cylinders amounting to 302 bhp and torque of 270 lb-ft. The company has announced that in the future another engine option will appear: a promising Duramax turbo.
Production of 2015 Canyon will begin in autumn, and the price of the production model will soon be announced.
