Geely Preface is the first commercial sedan on Volvo base

Chinese brand Geely has unveiled the production version of the newest Preface sedan.

The model will be the second automotive brand to be based on modular CMA architecture. This platform was jointly developed by the Chinese and Volvo specialists.

The Geely Preface reaches 4.785 m in length, 1.869 m in width, and 1.469 m in height with a 2.8 m wheelbase. The CMA scalable base was explicitly created for compact cars that are part of Geely and Volvo cars.

According to rumors, the Geely Preface will have a 2.0-liter supercharged 4-cylinder engine with 190 horsepower, working with a 7-speed "robot."
