Recall of the 2015 Ford F-150: Loss of Steering
Ford is making a recall. Nearly 12,300 new F-150s will be called back because of rivets which were installed improperly. This issue can affect the steering.
The upper I-shaft may have been riveted not properly in the vehicles under consideration. This can cause separation. In such a case, the driver will lose steering control without being warned.
The automaker states that there were no any injuries or accidents as a result of this issue reported. Meanwhile, there was one document supported case of steering loss while driving a 2015 model.
6,722 cars of the affected group have not been sold yet. In such a way, there are only 5,606 vehicles in clients’ hands. The I-shaft assembly will be inspected and replaced in the dealerships for free.
