No More F-150 Tremor, Raptor Waiting for Execution
It has been announced that F-150 Tremor truck from Ford will stop production this year as the new model is about to be introduced.
The automaker has shared the plans for manufacturing a half-ton truck in Detroit this week. It has been announced that the vehicle will be heavily modified and become lighter due to the changes of body details with aluminium ones. However, the customers will not find a Tremor option in dealerships, because it is unable to be packed with twin-turbo engine for 3.5 litres and six cylinders accompanied with short wheelbase.
Tremor was released last autumn and obtained extended marketing, but it simply lacked time to find its customers. Moreover, this pickup might be just one of discontinued lines.
Some sources indicate that a beloved off-road vehicle Raptor might be overtaken by the sad fate with half-official announcement of the model being absent from the production schedule for the next year. Marketing representative of the carmaker confirmed the information about Tremor discontinuation, but did not supply any comments about Raptor.
