Ideal pony car: Meet 2018 Ford Mustang in Chicago
The public now have a chance to see the 2018 Ford Mustang at the 2017 Chicago Auto Show after the special introduction in January. Due to its angrier face and super power under the hood, it is expected to be popular in the Chi-Town.
New styling modernization of the rear and ‘Stang’s front was made by the Ford’s designers. Pony car’s more aggressive look and sportier behavior owe to the lower edge of the hood, along with the ventilators on it. The improvements give the vehicle’s face less old-fashion look, which allows to follow the styling trend.
The view from the behind is prevailed by new bracket-shaped LED, yet the improvements for bumper and spoiler are more underrated. Rear diffuser has new elaborate shape which also makes the car look efficient.
The Mustang’s engine now has only two options because of dropping the 3.7-liter V6 from the lineup. Increased redline and better fuel saving are now possible thanks to higher compression ratio of the 5.0-liter V8. The 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder also gives more torque. Performance should also be boosted by attaching both mills to a 10-speed automatic.
