Ford turns Mustang into a 900-horsepower electric car
Ford and Webasto have built a Mustang Lithium prototype with an electrical installation.
Fastback was provided with an experimental battery and temperature control system, which was developed by Ford's serial electric cars.
The usual engine here gave way to a power plant with an electric motor and Phi-Power inverters, plus an 800-volt Webasto battery with EVDrive technology, etc. was added. The declared power was set at more than 900 "horses" and 1356 Nm. The rear-wheel-drive car is complemented by a 6-speed Getrag MT82 drag gearbox and a Torsen Super 8.8 differential.
The fastback body panels are half made of carbon fiber, and the suspension is underestimated by 25 mm. The novelty stands on 20-inch wheels with tires Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. The salon is lavish in a 10.4-inch sensor, on which you can activate different driving modes.
