Ford shows off the F-150 Raptor's Off-Road Capabilities
Ford is preparing for the launch of the next year’s F-150. The automaker has announced the release of a 6-part series.
Captioned in the Mojave Desert, the monthly series will highlight several key areas along with the “F-150 Raptor’s off-road agility and capabilities”, the Terrain Management System and BF Goodrich KO2 tyres. The rest footages will showcase the car’s styling, suspension and off-road characteristics.
The model under consideration will be marketed this autumn. It will be possible to obtain it in SuperCrew and SuperCab configurations. Both cars received an aggressive bumper on the front, a silver skid plate and headlamps from LED. There also are extended fender flares, front fender vents and a mesh grille with “Ford” inscription. You will also see an outstanding tailgate, 17-inch alloys and a unique dual exhaust set-up.
The power comes from an innovated 3.5-litre EcoBoost six-cylinder motor. It generates the excess of 411 hp and torque of 434 pound-feet. The engine is mated to a ten-speed automatic gearbox and an innovated all-wheel drive set-up featuring a torque-on-demand transfer case.
