Ford Focus ST Charming New, More Affluent Customers

The Focus ST is extremely successful at completing big things for Ford in various areas, not just at embarrassing performance vehicles.

The hot hatch has reached a great deal when it comes to the number of vehicles delivered with overall year-to-date volume set at 12,000 models. Among them, 33 % of customers are under 35 years old and have an average household income of $126,000. The Focus line overall has 22 % of its customers under 35 years of age while non-Focus ST clients have an average household income of just $68,000. As for the Ford brand overall, the average household profit is $106,000.

The Ford Focus ST was the most successful in the Detroit, Houston, LA and Orlando markets. Moreover, it’s also the most successful non-hybrid product Ford has in terms of conquest sales with 65 % of its customers trading in a non-Ford model.
