Ford Focus RS will reach US Dealerships in Spring of the Next Year
The innovated Ford Focus RS is on its way, but do not expect to receive it until 2016.
The company has stated that the vehicle will be presented in North America next week at the Auto Show in New York. Despite its presentation, the car will not reach dealerships till spring of the next year. The model will be built at the company’s assembly factory in Saarlois (Germany). An unintentional leak on one of the company’s European website assured an output of 345 hp, but the producer’s spokesperson says it is not true.
All power will be sent through a four-wheel drive system with twin clutch sets on each side of the rear-drive unit. They can send 100% of the vehicle’s power to both rear wheels and allow torque vectoring while cornering. In such a way it helps to improve the car’s performance. Drivers will have an opportunity to choose from normal, track and sport mode in the Focus RS. The model also has a special drift mode now.
The car is the latest high-performance model which will be revealed by the automaker as a plan of bringing 12 performance cars to market by 2020.
