The price of the Ford Focus RS 2016 has appeared online.
The brand-new Ford hot hatchback is catalogued on a configurator which is still in the trial phases and $35,730 is the starting price.
In spite of the fact that most of the images aren’t working, there is a number of options which were offered by the configurator for the RS, a navigation, a sunroof 19-inch forged alloys and syrupy Michelin Cup tires, which cost $1,990. With all options that are added, the price grows to $42,275, this is how much the RS costs.
If to compare, the Subaru WRX STI begins at $35,290 when at the same time the Volkswagen Golf R starts at $37,415, which means that Focus RS is in its greatest competition. If to look at the comparison of the specification of these vehicles, the Focus RS will be on top, because it can make 345 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque from its 2.3-liter turbo engine. The other important thing that torque can be briefly boosted to 347 lb-ft for up to fifteen seconds at a time.
We can expect the Focus RS by Spring of 2016.
