Ford Fiesta RS Mule of 2017 was snapped while its Testing
The famous Ford hatch family is presented with newborn members.
After the Ford Focus RS has been confirmed to arrive in the U.S. by the company, there appeared gossips about a Fiesta RS. They say it started spreading and here is the first proof that it is being developed.
A spy from AutoGuide.com has snapped a 2017 Ford Fiesta RS hybrid while testing together with Focus RS prototype. Despite the regular Fiesta body, the vehicle has changes in its front end with additional cooling details. They are hidden behind the temporary radiator enclosure.
The Fiesta RS features fender flares which give the model a wider track. The temporary body panels are also present on the rear part of the vehicle.
Tyrone Johnson, the company’s Performance manager told that we should expect more from the regular Fiesta. Judging from this, the offering will become one of Ford Performance’s innovated cars promised by the producer. The model will feature much more aggressive bodywork. The production model will have upgraded brakes, suspension and a 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine generating nearly 250 hp.
