F-150 Tremor will Pace Michigan NASCAR Trucks Contest
The Ford F-150 Tremor sport vehicle will pace the field for the NASCAR Trucks race at Michigan International Speedway, the American company has informed.
The F-150 Tremor, enhanced by an EcoBoost 3.5-liter motor with 365 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque will lead the field for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Michigan National Guard 200 on August 17, 2013.
The sport truck will be operated by reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski on Wednesday, August 14 at Michigan International Speedway. The following day, the F-150 Tremor will be the center of attention during the Tremor Talk web chat hosted by Brian Bell, marketing boss for the F-150.
“Michigan International Speedway is one of the hottest tracks on the NASCAR circuit, so the car pacing the field also needs to be fast,” informed Jamie Allison, chief, Ford Racing. “The 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor, with its light-weight configuration, EcoBoost motor and start-optimized performance, is well-designed for this job.”
