A Power Increase in Ford Focus RS: 350 HP and 350 LB-FT
The Ford Focus RS gladdens the buyers with its future hp increase.
The manual-only cool hatchback should produce 350 hp up from the 345 figure the automaker announced in summer. The 2.3-litre EcoBoost V4 engine will have torque of 350 pound-feet. The peak hp occurs at 6,000 rpm to the 6,800 rpm redline. The highest thrust happens at a low 3,200 rpm.
The all-wheel drive model will be able to restart the engine automatically after being parked. The driver will not have to restart the motor manually. The system will depress the clutch by itself.
Ford Performance Europe vehicle and engineering manager told that they wanted to put start-stop option on the vehicle. However, they decided to go one step further and started controlling engine stall at launch with the same technology.
The Focus RS from Ford will be produced sometime later in 2015.
