Dubai will see the Tipo from Fiat
As far as you remember, Fiat previewed the latest Tipo sedan sometime ago. Now the automaker revealed the vehicle at the International Motor Show held in Dubai.
The model is expected to be marketed in more than 40 countries in the EMEA region. Essentially, the vehicle is a renamed variant of Turkey’s Egea. The Tipo boasts a familiar styling. There is an oval-shaped radiator-enclosure, a sculpted hood and a short trunk. Besides, the vehicle gained a sweptback headlamps, wraparound taillights and famous character lines. The new offering has 4.54 metres in length, 1.78 metres in width and is 1.48 metres tall. Its wheelbase spans 2.64 metres.
The company has not shared any pictures of the interior. However, we are informed that the 5-seat will have premium ergonomics and best-in-class legroom. The vehicle might have an optional Uconnect infotainment system. It features Bluetooth / AUX / iPod connectivity and a 5-inch display. There are a rear-view camera and a TomTom navigation set-up among other options.
The customers will have a chance to choose from 4 different motors. The options include a 1.3-litre Multijet II turbodiesel engine generating 95 hp (or 69 kW), a 1.4-litre petrol unit with 95 hp (or 70 kW), a 1.6-litre Multijet II turbodiesel producing 120 hp (or 88 kW) and 1.6-litre petrol giving out 110 hp (or 80 kW).
