Airbag Recall Faces Fiat 500L

A certain type of airbags of Fiat 500L proved to be unreliable enough for a recall initiation.

It has been found out that the position of knee airbags has been shifted during the assembly, which practically does not make them useful at all if an incident happens.

From 30,000 affected units produced for this and the second model years nearly 10,000 are still unsold, informs the manufacturer.

The recall as such will be started in two months. Chrysler will take all the repair expenses.
