The first Ferrari SUV is gradually declassified
The first SUV in Ferrari history, Purosangue model, will be built on a similar front-engine base as the Roma supercar.
The Italian company has not yet decided on the power plant for the future SUV, but Purosangue will turn out to be partially electrified.
Ferrari chief engineer Michael Leuters told AutoExpress that Italians would take on the parallel development of two architectures for front and rear engine cars. The first front-engine car is the Ferrari Roma supercar.
The premiere of the Ferrari Purosangue SUV will be held at the end of 2021. Cross Italians "will not resemble any other off-road model in the car market." The car will differ due to all-wheel drive transmission, innovative suspension with possible adjustment of ride height.
