Ferrari came up with a thought how to make its LaFerrari even more wanted.
The automaker has chopped off its roof and created the Aperta. The designers tried to preserve the outlook of the coupe. Meanwhile the engineers developed a wind-stop system that is supposed to enhance aerodynamics as well as allow the driver and passengers hear each other even at high speeds.
The Aperta features the same performance figures as the standard LaFerrari despite the increase in weight. The engine will be the same as in the LaFerrari. This 12-cylinder unit is able to produce 800 hp while a 163-hp electric motor and it provide together 963 hp and torque more than 664 pound-feet.
The Aperta benefits from the identical torsional rigidity as the offering with the fixed roof. The drag coefficient is the same as well.
