Styling of the 2017 C3 Picasso from Citroen
The innovated C3 Picasso from Citroën is going to prove that MPVs should not always be shaped as a refrigerator and have a bland outlook.
The right-hand-drive prototype was caught during its test in Europe with lots of camouflage. It is obvious that the design is absolutely different from the outgoing offering.
Lots of features were lent by the bigger C4 Picasso. The automaker gave a promise to install the air-filted plastic panels on a bigger number of cars. We do believe that extra camouflage was meant to hide those air bumps.
The B-segment model will share platform with the coming-soon Opel Meriva. This will be a part of cooperation between PSA and GM. The producer will offer several V3 and V4 engines. There will be both petrol and diesel ones. The engines will be matched to 6-speed automatic or manual transmission.
The 2nd-gen C3 Picasso is supposed to be presented on its home turf at the Motor Show in Paris. Wait for it in the first part of October. The market launch will happen at the end of 2016 or at the beginning of the next year.
