Presenting of Citroen's DS brand Will Happen in the U.S. in 2020
The chief of the DS made an announcement that the automaker intents to arrive at market in the U.S. by 2020.
PSA Peugeot Citroën has transformed DS into an outstanding brand earlier. The vehicles which will be sold in Europe will have no Citroën moniker since 2015. Something like that has been already used for China-spec variants. At this time the automaker has revealed that it is going to sell Ds-badged variants in 200 big cities around the globe in the next decade. 30 of the cities will be north American and 20 of them will be from the U.S.
This plan was revealed by the DS’s chief who has a wish to make DS a “global premium brand”. Back in 1991 PSA’s Peugeot pulled out from the American market, but now Bonnefont states that Peugeot will return in 2017, meanwhile DS offering’s sales will renew around 2020. The enlargement of DS family is expected in the coming years. Additory variants are in the production process and the newcomers may continue to be founded on Citroën offerings along with exceptional interior and exterior.
