Chinese Debut of c-Quatre VTS from Citroen
A modified and sportier variant of c-Quatre has been showcased by Citroen in China.
The eastern country is the single market for c-Quatre model. With VTS modification this car also known as C4 obtained a rather peculiar outlook. Among a range of details out of place a quad exhaust stands out for its hyperbolized functions: the car only goes with a V4 with 2.0-litre displacement not producing enough aspiration with its motor making humble 147 hp.
Wheels option seems to be the only pure repetition of the standard model. Distinguishing features include a brightly-coloured rear wing matching the racing stripes, massive side skirts, additions on the lower part of both bumpers and bonnet-mounted imitation of air vents.
The starting price of the novelty from Citroen totals 113,800 yuan (more than ₤11,000) and maximum options can cost 22,000 yuan (roughly ₤2,100) more.
Main headlines will be given for the next vehicle of the brand – a sporty DS 5LS R sedan concept producing 300 bhp. The car will see the world this April in Beijing.
