Restyled 2017 Chevy Trax Costs $21,895
Having shown the 2017 Chevrolet Trax sometime earlier in 2016, the automaker reveals that the redesigned offering will cost $21,895 with destination covered ($895). The base LS trim is FWD. It is $23,295 and AWD. Dealerships will see these cars in autumn.
New Premier trim comes instead of the LTZ. It gives halogen projector headlights featuring LED running lights. The Premier rocks leather seating. Its interior trim has been also included along with 18-inch wheels. It costs starting from $26,995 and with AWD it will be $28,495.
All trim of the updated Trax received a new outlook. They have an upgraded front end. There are a dual port enclosure and new headlamps. At the rear end you will find some small changes to the bumper and taillamps. Inside the cabin you will meet a fresh instrument panel and a 7-inch MyLink infotainment system (that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay).
The small crossover received more safety tech as well. Even base offerings sport a rearview camera. Customers will be able to choose from Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The powerplant will be the same. The Trax still equipped with a 1.4-litre turbocharged V4 producing 138 hp and torque of 148 pound-feet. A 6-speed automatic transmission will be the only one available.
