More Electric Power to Chevrolet Volt 2015
Promotion campaign of next year’s Chevy Volt has just been extended to one more news opportunity.
Battery of the future vehicle would be of 0.6 kWh benefit to that of the outgoing variant. First introduced three and a half years ago, Volt could last for 35 miles or 94 MPGe on battery alone. The current offering uses a 16.5-kWh unit giving it a 3-mile benefit.
Profile manager of General Motors confessed the pleasant alteration in an interview to one of the car periodicals. Kevin Kelly also mentioned that this step was a manifestation of never-ending concern for the customer’s approval and comfort, opted for with the purpose of supporting the high expectation standards. He ended up expressing the hope that clients would appreciate the change.
Construction start of the new Volt did not imply EPA re-certification. Official numbers of this agency are yet to appear, but allegations have it that Chevrolet Volt 2015 might easily last for 40 miles on battery alone.
