Expect 2016 Trax Midnight Edition from Chevy
Chevrolet has shown the next year’s Trax Midnight Edition.
The model takes its origins form the Trax LTZ and has got black trim inside the cabin, 5-spoke alloys finished in black and black door handles. The edition also received a black rear license plate appliqué and roof rails.
The automaker has not released photos of the car’s cabin. The brand assures that the changes are not significant. We know that the car received special seats featuring gray accents. Customers will be pleased with outstanding floor rugs with matching gray piping.
The model is equipped with a 1.4-litre turbocharged Ecotec V4 unit generating 138 hp and torque of 148 lb-ft. It is mated with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. These characteristics enable the car to return 26 mpg in the city and 34 mpg in the highway (with front-wheel drive set-up) and 24 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway (with four-wheel drive system).
The Trax Midnight Edition will start its sales in February. The price for the package stands at $500. Therefore, the crossover’s total cost without dealer fees and tax will be $26,625.
