Early Release of Pickup Trucks from General Motors

Autumn of 2018 will be memorable by the debut of next GM pickup trucks.

Silverado and Sierra will arrive more than 9 months earlier than planned with perfect timing for next year’s Ford F-150 launch. Apart from pickup trucks the American brand also mulls over introducing a light-weight SUV.

The former vehicles will also come along significantly slimmer. However, the decision of the company to compete with Ford’s product looks weird considering a four-year gap between the cars.

Whatever it will look like in the end, the clash of American titans is at least going to be exciting. Transmissions and powertrain elements will be renewed in GM trucks. Namely, Chevrolet Silverado will most likely offer its latest automatic gearbox for eight speeds.
