Chevy Bolt Will Roll Out In 2017
The finalist for the 2017 North American Car of the Year and winner of the 2017 Motor Trend Car of the Year had to go on sale in America at the end of this year.
However, Chevy stated that there will be only few models. Actually, only residents of Oregon and California will receive the Bolt this year. Other states will get it next year. The spokesman of General Motors said that only “limited quantities” will be possible to obtain in 2017.
The next year’s Bolt started production this month in Michigan. It is being produced at the company’s Orion Assembly factory. The automaker wants to output 20,000-30,000 vehicles per year.
The car under consideration is equipped with its own platform. It received a certificate from EPA at 238 miles of range in the combined cycle. This became possible due to the 60-kWh lithium-ion battery.
