Chevrolet SS Successor May be Grounded on Impala
It is known that the Chevrolet SS will not be produced if Holden defeats domestic production in three years, but will it gain a successor?
As the recent report in the Motoring states, the Chevrolet SS might not gain a successor, meanwhile the American company could just give its front-wheel drive Impala offering SS sign when the Zeta-based sportive sedan stops manufacturing. Nevertheless, GM has told sometime past about the Alpha back-wheel drive platform which could become the foundation for an SS successor created in the United States, it appeared that it is off the target especially with increased CAFÉ demands.
Not long ago, Chevrolet gave a manual gear box option to the Chevrolet SS of 2015. Its price is $46,740 now along with destination. There will be only 2,500 offerings of Chevrolet SS produced per year. During October the automaker has managed to sell 2,281 vehicles.
